Michelle joined Bella Domicile in the Fall of 2021, bringing 7 years of kitchen and bath design and industry experience with her.  Designing kitchens that suit each individual client’s functional needs, space, and aesthetic is Michelle’s passion.  She finds remodels particularly rewarding, because a new kitchen design can revive a beloved family home.

How long have you been in the design industry? Since 2014- about 7 years

What are a few of your favorite things? Being outside, sewing & painting

Do you have family or pets? Husband Nic, young son Morrison & dog Riley

What is one piece of advice or statement you want to make about the kitchen and bath industry (or remodeling)? Stay true to your initial vision.  It should be your roadmap every step of the way.

What do you like most about Bella Domicile? How welcoming it is. You feel it from day one.

Where are you from? Dubuque, IA, came to Madison via Colorado

What motivates you to work hard? It’s really important to me that the clients are comfortable. What I do, I do for my clients.

What makes you laugh the most? The people in my life, especially my girlfriends.

What is your favorite game or sport to watch and play? I like to watch college football, formula one & the winter Olympics.

What two radio stations do you listen to in the car the most? Driving is my quite time, I don’t listen to anything in the car. But I do love a good True Crime podcast.

What’s your favorite holiday? Christmas

What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done? Skied Birds of Prey in Beaver Creek, a world class down hill course.

What kitchen appliance do you use every day? Refrigerator

If you had a warning label, what would yours say? Not a morning person

What was your first job? Worked at a sub station for the post office in a drug store.
