Bella Domicile Inc. celebrated its 50th anniversary in October 2013. Founded in 1963, the business originally was known as Modern Kitchen Supply and served South Central Wisconsin as a distributor for cabinets, countertops and appliances to home builders, lumber yards and home centers.
In 2003, the company moved into a brand-new 8,900-square-foot building on Nesbitt Road in Fitchburg, Wis., and changed its name to Bella Domicile Inc., which means beautiful home or beautiful individual dwelling place. The move and name change reflected the completion of a bold strategic plan that transformed the company into the preferred source of residential cabinetry and design expertise for discriminating homeowners, builders, and a multitude of remodeling contractors.
