Frustration with a 24" wall oven in a high traffic area and a lack of usable storage were the impetus for this kitchen remodel in the Nakoma area. The client loved the existing gas cooktop and wood floor but needed a space that accommodated family meals as well as gatherings.
The sink and appliances were relocated for a better flow. The opening between the dinning room and kitchen was enlarged by seven feet to unify the spaces and the 2-sided fireplace could be enjoyed from the kitchen.
Some of the key features that added function; a large corner base with full access shelving, base mixer cabinet, waste/recycling space, energy efficient LED under cabinet lighting, pot-filler faucet and an office area with concealed sorting partitions.
